Everything Gone Wrong Song The man for all seasons strangled himself with the hose while drinking from the nozzle His wife is stacking the fridge with jelly, starch and slime The pot-bellied picnicker fell asleep in his folding chair after a case of ice-cold cheapo beer The painless dancers in the ballrooms of unconsciousness are twirling and whirling, doing the celestial spiral The semi-paralysed tightrope walker is crossing concrete valleys barely liveable enough to want to die in He got his GoPro working They stagger, creep and crawl across the bubbling sprawl They dream, they fly - silently they sigh taking selfies at the coast – they’re going for what matters most Late at night they wish for a new companion Lear jets and yachts buzz around the islands of voracity So, one per cent is rich, the rest have a bad case of envy Self-victimised activists blog themselves to fame Homegrown terrorists invade your shopping mall Autotuned pop twats drill your ears while modern fascists in sloppy disguise march and chant again Dictators and bureaucrats vaporise your daydreams Celebs, pundits and talk show hosts exercise self-promotion and mass delusion Conductors and hobos on the gravy train are grinning and waving at everyone They jabber, brag and bawl - they never answer when you call They came, they saw - they ate your eyeballs raw They photographed your face - they gave you a rude embrace If you feel like screaming, go ahead The iconoclast hermit lives near the tower of blue horses he’s not the fool on the hill but he knows what’s going down in the modern art museum well-off winos are contemplating geometric patterns and pictures of bodies on the beach while trillions of gadgets are blinking and beeping and one hundred million refugees are on their way They scare you, don´t they? You shiver, shake and bleed - someone sows the final seed You run, you hide - you´ve been taken for a ride your brother goes by the name of Cain – your endeavours are in vain So, who did you save the last dance for?

Speak to Me! 04:36
Speak to Me! Drink up! The new bottle holds a different wine We´ve come a long, long way from the safety zone Link up! Cutting along the dividing line the blade goes all the way down to the bone Speak to me, please! Say, what is it that is wrong Tell me how long will this be going on? Eyes shut - words still dangling from your lips one of us should know what this silence means Ties cut - go lick your trembling fingertips what a way to go, down to the green Speak to me, please! Say, what is it that is wrong Tell me how long will this be going on? Speak to me, please! Tell me will this be going on? Bone dry - picking out of season fruit you fell for the taste and came back for more Lone cry - pulling out the deepest root a feeling of waste down to the core Speak to me, please! Say, what is it that is wrong Tell me how long?

Black Limousine Blues Outside my happy home stopped a black limousine Outside my happy home stopped a black limousine Somebody urged my baby inside and I was left alone at the scene I had my mouth wide open couldn´t find words to say I had my mouth wide open couldn´t find words to say when the limousine turned around and pulled away Sometimes you hear rumours about the things they hide from you Sometimes you hear rumours about the things they hide from you I was afraid my darkest nightmare was finally coming true All the neighbours came to see me but I sent them away All the neighbours came to see me but I sent them away You see, you never can tell who to trust these days The day the limousine came back I didn´t know what was real The day the limousine came back I didn´t know what to feel when I saw my baby sitting right behind the wheel

Tuesday Won´t Make It I open the paper, yes, I still read the papers, though it´s mostly gibberish these days I had to turn off the radio, they´re talking much too fast They should be more careful, culture is fragile in many ways I wish someone would send me something Something built to last I finally opened all the mail Then I started a fire and burned every reminder What do they want? They should know by now that I can´t pay The dazzling news keep coming in They´ve got my brain in a grinder Oh, the riders of the real world trample on my slumber as they come in infinite numbers This routine is getting ridiculous accumulating rubbish, watching frantic phantoms by the score Now, there´s someone at the door just someone to ignore Exposed to multi media boredom and the news reader´s pretentious sobriety the news of the war, and all the silly unkind people this ludicrous society lunatics running for office the ever-demanding system, the treadmill race lethal jokers invading my time and space Oh, here they come, here they come again....

Falling Apart It´s falling apart - you can´t rely on the brave It´s falling apart - you can´t rely on your slaves It´s falling apart - you can´t rely on the deal It´s falling apart - it makes no difference how you feel It´s falling apart - you can´t rely on good advice It´s falling apart - you can´t rely on being nice Beauty is dying and so is art take this matter to your heart revive your knack for throwing darts Everything used to happen far away now it´s closing in and it´s plain as day It´s nobody´s virtue and everyone´s fault the machinery will grind to a halt The sick and the blind will rise from the vault And suddenly all the future´s gone The rats are loose and the race is on It´s falling apart - you can´t rely on the president It´s falling apart - the error is evident It´s falling apart - you can´t rely on the sciences It´s falling apart - you can´t rely on alliances It´s falling apart - you can´t rely on your book of rules It´s falling apart - you can´t rely on a bunch of fools Some get fed, some pay the cost conmen leave no line uncrossed Young men aren´t angry, they´re just lost There´s no concept that will succeed there´s no ambition, only greed Some walk in circles and talk to themselves Some quote from the books on their dusty shelves Some dance over fire like viscious elves Some are busy keeping up the charade Some are driving down the promenade Suicide warriors fall in sacred strife they found a higher sense of purpose in life Flashy pied pipers play their fifes Some jester ignites his blasting fart If the play´s the thing you´d better know your part

Suburbia and the Choir Boys The bearded boys are doing the brew house stomp Little Kevin´s gone diving in the stinking swamp Someone claims they´ll blow up the plant tonight Some news channel purchased the exclusive rights and the choir boys are singing Who jumps up? Who sneaks around? Who must wear the piss pot crown? Have you heard the news? He´s an honest kid, dressed like you and me and tonight´s the night you can watch him on TV Ready to go and die for his sense of honour Star of the show, praising the thrill to be a goner and the choir boys are singing Who jumps up? Who sneaks around? Who must wear the piss pot crown? Have you heard the news? Social media junkies salivate and post their likes Clueless politicians prattle into forests of mikes everyone acting as if they had a point to make raving about amazing facts that can´t be faked and the choir boys are singing Who jumps up? Who sneaks around? Who must wear the piss pot crown? Have you heard the news? You whose bowls are empty are you happy to have something to die for? You who live in the land of plenty be careful what you cry for! Content to be spoonfed with pointless information while some raging madman pretends to save the nation Everyone´s a victim through someone else´s fault and life is all about surviving the next assault and the choir boys are singing Who jumps up? Who sneaks around? Who must wear the piss pot crown? Have you heard the news?

Mama´s Working Nine to Five Mama´s working nine to five to keep her aging body alive Papa´s cooking up a sturdy stew by tonight he´ll have it ready for you Monkey see, monkey do You like me, I like yo Shaba daba dee Shaba daba doo Impersonate yourself Impersonate yourself Impersonate yourself Impersonate yourself All kids want their share of fun lining up for Number One Share what you like, like what you share Too daft to be real, too busy to care Monkey see, monkey do... Daddy´s drinking eight to four Mama´s shut the bedroom door Everybody´s got a scene to watch everybody´s got a sweaty crotch Monkey see, monkey do.... When you feel like yesterday´s papers when no-one cares for your news Put on a show for the gapers Throw‘em a cake and let them eat it, too Do your trick to get your treat Licking juice in the midnight heat Go viral with your guts spilled out Stick a flower in your puppy´s snout Monkey see, monkey do.... Oh my God, I feel so out of place living among the human race

Migration Song I know exactly what you came here for You can have my pity but nothing more You run from persecution, war and disease I´ll write a charity cheque to keep things at ease You left your home where you cannot exist You made it to the camp - you are truely blessed Made it through the desert and across the sea You´re lining up at the border - should it bother me? You ask for justice, you ask for peace You´re like a captive in hopes of release It goes by unnoticed if you live or die it almost breaks my heart to pass you by Beware who you trust to change your luck You might suffocate in the back of a truck You don´t know what you´ll get but you pay in advance You face the choice and you take a chance I engage in welfare, I engage in your fate How many of you are there? Help me calculate It´s a special game of give and take All the same re-election´s at stake You pay your part, I own the sum I own the change you hope will come I own the road, you pay by the mile Everything´s arranged in colonial style I own your history and the past lives on I own the rescources you depend upon I own the rights to dig your soil I pay the troops in a war for oil while rebels fight for a people ignored for the sake of a slogan or for God´s reward for deprived civilians behind the lines for the souls of children that stepped on mines They fight until they don´t know what they´re fighting for and they´ll keep on fighting because I own the war I mind my business, hope you don´t mind This is not the time for acting kind What keeps me going is what keeps you poor Still you got hopes for the future, what is it that makes you sure?

Basement Paradise Tonight there will be one star shining brighter than ever before Tonight there will be one star shining brighter than ever before The voices of passion will be calling forever more When the lights go out after midnight we’ll make such a pretty pair When the lights go out after midnight we’ll make such a pretty pair Some say there is no such thing as heaven but you can trust me to take you there Take another sip from the bottle while I just sit here and stare Take another sip from the bottle while I just sit here and stare Grant me the privilege of looking at you with your bewildered eyes and golden hair I know you´re in need of a special treat let's see what I can provide I know you´re in need of a special treat let's see what I can provide Tonight you’re not going to run, Babe down here is the perfect place to hide Through the morning mist we’ll drive to the ocean nowhere in this world you'll find a deeper blue Through the morning mist we’ll drive to the ocean nowhere in this world you´ll find a deeper blue I guarantee you out there no one will come looking for you

The Man with the Hard-Boiled Mind and other Stories This is the man with the hard-boiled mind for seven seasons he kept it buried in the ground until it turned all brown and black and blue Now he´s got his mouldy beans to grind He´s selling instant logic by the pound He learned to swallow hard so he won´t have to chew And the backstreet girls sing shalala and the boys engage in bla bla bla and it all goes round and round and round and round again and we all feel the mule kick inside every now and then She had lived in a trailer all her life seven tornadoes wouldn´t change her mind A hard-headed honey with lots of candy to share Then one day she became the ambassador’s wife He used to watch her through the screen door from behind That´s a lot to hold on to and a heavy burden to bear And the backstreet girls sing shalala and the boys engage in bla bla bla and it all goes round and round and round and round again and we all feel the mule kick inside every now and then Tinsel entertainers in silver survival suits They can make you laugh but they´ll never make you smile They tenderise you with their sugar coated brags clicking the heels of plastic combat boots they madly salute as you´re walking down the aisle They punch you as you´re running from their running gags And the backstreet girls sing shalala and the boys engage in bla bla bla and it all goes round and round and round and round again and we all feel the mule kick inside every now and then

Repeat: The Goons Are Out So twinkle, twinkle little star nothing´s too bright and nothing´s too far some are damned and some are blessed What do you think we think you are always on scene, never on cue So pathologically self-obsessed in everything you say or do Set the stage and get on with the show what you see is what you get and all you hear is all you know with your eyes on the distance and your hand on your heart nothing´s too high and nothing´s too low You´re on the fast lane to perfection Sorry to say you had a false start and no sense of direction I guess you´ve heard this one before Excuse me for being such a bore Hey, what´s that smell behind your door? Say, what is it that you´ve got in store? Anyway, would you like to hear some more? There´s a monster sleeping on your floor They came and raped your favourite whore Yes, the goons are out and this is war! How often must I repeat things until you deign to remember? How often must I repeat things until you deign to remember? How often must I repeat things until you deign to remember? Post-modern science will save your arse when oceans rise and fuel is scarce Dream of shiny things in your future world and feed the lepers on water from Mars Well, nothing´s too cool and nothing´s too hot Who can see as far as the muck is hurled? Just never say you didn´t want what you´ve got Supply the guns and tell the world to like or lump it Cash in on the falling costs for blood and bone Strike a deal and someone will pass their stack to you Your conscience turns to waste but you can´t dump it When shells fly low you retreat to the comfort zone But this time it´ll all come back to you I guess you´ve heard this one before Excuse me for being such a bore Hey, what´s that smell behind your door? Say, what is it that you´ve got in store? Anyway, would you like to hear some more? There´s a monster sleeping on your floor They came and raped your favourite whore Yes, the goons are out and this is war! How often must I repeat things until you deign to remember? How often must I repeat things until you deign to remember? How often must I repeat things until you deign to remember? How often must I repeat things until you deign to remember? How often must I repeat things until you deign to remember? How often must I repeat things?

Cassandra´s Diary Pg. 27 The nervous kid´s been moved to ward 7 Something tells him this is not heaven Bulb-eyed Curly sports his infamous stare there´s a distant hum that got him really scared The big man is leaning on his broom in his corner of the recreation room Jack the Dipper sure is feeling fine slow waltzing on cloud nine But something feels so wrong the radio is silent tonight Something´s going on inside the asylum tonight Grapevine announced the latest affair Dr. Strangelove and Sister Golden Hair The kitchen aide has dropped the plates One more night she will be working late The wolfman´s standing in a purple haze They could stop his howling but not his gaze The night watch left their deck of cards Someone soon will come down hard But something feels so wrong the radio is silent tonight Something´s going on inside the asylum tonight They’re monitoring their displays They are turning down the lights So I guess I´ll call it a day inside the asylum tonight
